Box Teams

A BRIEF HISTORY- Our girls program began with a small group of younger sisters from our boys program families. These girls decided they wanted to get in on the action, and we were happy to oblige.  In the beginning, it was hard to find any competition, and these girls battled against mostly boys teams for the first few years.  Fortunately, seeing them participate inspired other programs to offer girls teams as well.  Our first girls team was made up of 2024 & 2025 Grad Year players. Those girls won TWO USBOXLA National Championships and are considered to be the best girls box team in the country at their age. Many of those players give credit to the game of box lacrosse for helping them develop into excellent field lacrosse players. The majority of those 2024 girls have since committed to Division 1 programs, including Syracuse, Princeton, Brown & Loyola. And 2 of our current 2025 players have been named TOP 10 players in the country and will be highly recruited on September 1st, when their recruiting season officially begins. Last season, we added a 5th & 6th grade team and a 7th & 8th grade team to our program and the parents and players absolutely loved it.  This summer, we will be taking a girls team to USBOXLA Nationals, and 2 girls teams to Toronto to participate in the Border Wars tournament against Canadian teams!

Team Superstar Box Lacrosse is highly regarded as one of the best box lacrosse programs in the country. Our teams and program are a national powerhouse and we continue to win championships on the Local, Regional and National stage.

For the 2023/2024 season, we will host three 90-minute Sunday practices per team (December dates), and three 2 hour weekday practices on a consistent night (Thurs nights- 1 week on and 2 weeks off for 9 weeks).

Sunday Practice Dates- 12/10 & 12/17- (Sunday Afternoons- 1pm-7pm on a rotating schedule per below)
