Superstar Box Lacrosse is going NATIONAL!!!
ALL NATIONAL TEAMS ARE BIRTH-YEAR BASED WITH NO EXCEPTIONS/WE WILL TAKE 18 PLAYERS PER TEAM FOR THE FOLLOWING AGE GROUPS:
U-13 Team- 2012 & 2013 Birth Years
U-15 Team- 2010 & 2011 Birth Years
U-17 Team- 2008 & 2009 Birth Years
HS Elite Team- 2006 & 2007 Birth Years
GIRLS HS ELITE- 2005, 2006 & 2007 Birth Years
Players selected for a National team will attend 4 practices PRIOR TO EACH EVENT.
Each Tournament will have it's own practices and Team Fee.
Players selected to the National Teams can attend one, two or three of the elite events listed below:
- Border Wars in Toronto, Canada December 14th-16th at the Toronto Rock Training Center. We will compete against the best box players in Toronto in a huyge 3-day tournament.
- Midwest Classic in Colombus, Ohio January 13th-15th, 2024 at the Resolute Athletic Complex in Colombus Ohio. (NO GIRLS DIVISIONS YET)
- 2024 USBOXLA Nationals in San Jose, Califronia (First week in August of 2024)

Every summer our Team Superstar Program takes a bunch of teams to the USBOXLA National Championships, where we have the opportunity to play some of the best box lacrosse teams in the world!!! It is an incredible experience, and many families choose to extend this trip on the front-end or back-end in order to make it a nice family vacation. If this coming summer is anything like in years past, Superstar will bring a Novice, Peewee, Bantam, Midget & HS Elite team to the USBOXLA Nationals. We would LOVE to have you and your family join us for the best box lacrosse experience of the year!!!
The essential details are below:
The fee for a player to attend the Nationals is $295. This covers the tournament entry fee and coaches travel expenses.

Tournament Start and End TimesTournament starts 8:00am Friday Aug 5 through to 3pm Sunday Aug 7th. Optional USBOXLA Academy starts Thursday Aug 4 at 6pm.

Age GroupsTo protect the high quality and fair gameplay at this National event age groups are strictly adhered to for A and B level clubs. C divisions allow a maximum of 2 over aged non-impact players to help fill rosters.

Game PlayAll games are played by the 2022/23 USBOXLA Rules and Situational Book . A minimum of 5 games guaranteed per team. Each game is a standard length official USBOXLA game.
*Skill Level Breakdown'A' Level: This highly skilled level includes elite American and Canadian Programs. Teams are typically coached by former NLL players and coaches.
BORDER WARS INFO:
We can't wait to take on CANADA'S BEST in the 2023 BORDER WARS in TORONTO, CANADA.
Games will take place in the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC Website) from Friday, December 15th through Sunday, December 17th. Players will fly in on Thursday, December 14th and home on Sunday, December 17th.

FOR THE BORDER WARS, We will practice 4 Sunday evenings in the Fall (1 in October, 2 in November, 1 in December at InSports Trumbull).
This fee includes 3 practice sessions (Trumbull) and 1 shooting session (ALA) for each team, all coaching and coaches travel, a commemorative shooting shirt, new helmet stickers (all players must have a navy blue box helmet) designed exclusively for the Superstar National teams, plus the Border Wars tournament fee.
Practice sessions will take place in October/November/December (1 per month) on a Sunday evening in Trumbull.
Shooting sessions will take place in Ridgefield during October/November and are semi-flixible.
Tournament begins Friday, December 15th through Sunday, December 17th. Players should plan to be in Toronto on Thursday 14th and be ready to play on Friday morning.
NOTE: DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THE TEAM BOX HELMET AND TEAM GLOVES. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A NAVY BLUE BOX HELMET FOR THIS EVENT. GLOVES ARE OPTIONAL.
IMPORTANT DETAILS...
- Hotel Links will be sent out for each team.
- We are playing at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) against all-star teams from the greater Toronto area.
- A team store will be set up for apparel and for players who need a jersey or shorts. We will be using our uniform from the 2023 box season, so if you have that you WILL NOT need to order a new uniform!
- PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AND SUPERVISION.
- PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PLAYERS PLAYING IN CANADA
- NOTE: ANY PLAYER THAT IS OFFERED A SPOT ON THE TEAM SUPERSTAR NATIONAL TEAMS WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE AN INVITE TO JOIN OUR WINTER BOX TEAMS FOR THE 2023/2024 SEASON.
